Place the template onto the card and draw the central area and cross lines to denote the centre.
If there is a star by a segment(s), draw these on Lucido paper and cut them out.
If there is a star by a segment then that point comes in the centre. Stick it exactly in place on the card. Now work all the lines with the matching stickers.
Emboss and embroider the rest of the card to taste.
Use vellum paper (as background behind the design) for a translucent effect and stick this behind the cut out centre of the card.
